Rev. Alimamy Sesay, known by his stage name Pastor Alim Sesay, is an esteemed gospel music icon who also serves as a full-time clergy, managing the Christ International Worship Centre (CIWC) located at YWCA New Hall, Brookfields.
Pastor Alim embarked on his musical journey three decades ago, supporting various leaders and advisors during their time. He is celebrated for hit tracks such as: Let My Gate Be Open, You Don Win, You Are Mine, I Am Yours, New Jerusalem, among many others.
Pastor Alim Sesay is not only devoted to his pastoral duties but remains active in the gospel music scene. He is the initiator and pioneer of the Tehilla Intentional Worship Experience. He served as the interim President of the Gospel Musicians Council Sierra Leone, the governing body for all gospel music ministers, instrumentalists, promoters, spoken word artists, producers, rappers, managers, and dancers. The Christian community can attest to the myriad roles Pastor Alim has assumed to ensure seamless operations within the faith realm.
He fulfilled the position of Country Music Director for the recent Healing Jesus Campaign, whose organizer is Bishop Dag Heward Mills. Pastor Alim Sesay enjoys a blissful marriage with a lovely wife, blessed with wonderful children. As he celebrates 30 years of music, he will also launch an album intended to enrich lives.
