Convener and Pioneer of Warship of Worship Ministries Sierra Leone Rev. Bamikole Kanu is known for his passion and zest towards kingdom work. Rev. Bamikole has been a vessel of honour and also serves as adviser in the gospel music community of Sierra Leone. He is known for his Koinonia Worship Experience a worship event that is geared towards bringing the Anglican community into a deep intimacy with God. It is an Annual event that only lasted for 3 days.
On the 1st December 2023, Rev. Bamikole Kanu disclosed to his fans, worshipers and members on social Media that:
“To the glory and by the mercy of God, I was declared and appointed Canon of the Greater Chapter of the St. Georges Cathedral and of the Anglican Church yesterday.
Being a Canon in the Anglican Church is a great title that comes with huge responsibilities.
The Canonical order could be considered amongst the second highest office of the Anglican Church order. It is as equal as being a Cardinal in the Roman Catholic Church order.
1. It means I am now a member of the greater chapter of the Cathedral which is the mother Church of the Anglican Diocese. Which also gives me a Seat at the Cathedral.
2. I am now a member of the governing body of the Anglican Church. The Standing Committee.
3. It also means I am now eligible to be appointed or even contest for any of the following positions when the need arises....Archdeacon, Dean or Bishop.
Being a Canon in the Anglican Church makes me one of the most senior clergy men of the Anglican Church order in Sierra Leone”.
In another development on the 16th January 2024, he further went on to personally invite his fans, worshipers and followers to the induction service which is schedule to take place on Sunday 28th January 2024 with also words of gratitude:
“ See how far the Lord has brought me; and I pray more of His blessings upon you for being part of this journey with me, for your unwavering support all these years and for believing in me and what I do as I continue to labour.
However, your continued Love, moral and Prayerful Support is mostly needed at this point in time in my life and ministry. I live to serve God through my service to you. I may have not been perfect sometimes, I may have not met certain expectations, yet I am still been worked on by God and I desire to do more and be more as unto God.
I look forward to seeing you at the Cathedral of St. Georges on 28th January at 2:00pm; I trust the Lord you'll be able to make it, if not I still covet your prayers.
NEW LEVELS ATTRACTS NEW DEVILS………………………..Remember me in your prayers”
