Opinion Pull on Minister Anita Scott-Manga's Come Back

Anita Scott-Manga is an anointed and dynamic gospel musician originally hailed from Pujehun district but raised in Moyamba District, Sierra Leone. Coming from a family of five, she is the second child of a distinguished academic family, with her father (diceased) serving as a university lecturer and her mother a dedicated teacher.

She pursued her early education at The Harford School for Girls (Junior Secondary) and continued at The Beacon High School (Senior Secondary). With a passion for music and ministry, she went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree from Fourah Bay College, where she was deeply involved in campus ministry activities as part of the Great Commission Movement, serving two terms as the Music Coordinator.

Her musical journey continued as she expanded her knowledge and experience by being part of various gospel bands and choirs in Freetown including the Balanta Gospel Band, Substance Band, and the Spirit and Life Choir of Oxygen Music Records, where she acted as the Choir Director. Her leadership and vocal prowess have made her a sought-after guest minister at numerous programs across Sierra Leone, and even other African nations.

She has competed and triumphed in several gospel music competitions, including winning the "Wesleyan Got Talent." Additionally, her expertise in gospel music has led her to serve as a judge in prestigious competitions in and out of Freetown including The Real Women Gospel Competition and Assemblies of God Talent Competition.

Beyond music, Anita Scott-Manga is a successful entrepreneur and businesswoman, owning Nittas Fashion Wears and founding Deborah’s Initiative Loan and Savings Scheme, an initiative aimed at supporting women in petty businesses by providing micro-loans and savings opportunities to boost their capital and financial independence.

She is a dedicated member of New Harvest Ministries and served as Choir Director for three terms, nurturing many in the faith and in the music ministry. She continues to be a mentor to many within Sierra Leone’s gospel music community, offering her guidance and wisdom to upcoming artists.

As a guest minister, she has graced prominent programs like Uni Worship, The Gathering, Connect, One Worship, and Mega Fest, leaving a lasting spiritual impact. She has also collaborated with notable gospel artists such as Pastor Sammy Johnson, Pastor Matthew Bangura, and Pastor Aiah Momoh of The Ushers, featuring in multiple albums.

Above all, she is wife and mother of two, balancing her ministry, family, and entrepreneurial pursuits while being a respected and admired figure in both the Sierra Leonean gospel and business communities. Her life and ministry continue to inspire many as she faithfully serves God through music and service to others.

In just few weeks she has released the video of Yahweh; a song that was birth in the spirit expressing and describing the beauty and nature of God the I Am That I Am.
